Dale Pengelly taught 2 Masterclasses for our Combined Schools Junior and Senior age-groups at BPAC (Brisbane Performing Arts Challenge) in 2018. He delivered beautifully prepared workshops focussing on age-appropriate and current Musical Theatre repertoire. The senior group were taught an entire rep. piece from CHICAGO - The Musical and had an absolute ball learning the nuances and technique behind the famous Fosse choreography. I highly recommend Dale as a Teacher/Coach for performers of all ages and genders.

“How lucky can you get”

I have been a big fan of Dale, well forever!
The performer that I have admired and adored is now my singing and dancing teacher.
I have gone from singing/shouting in tune with little to no confidence to now getting up and performing in musicals and singing solo to an audience.
The journey that Dale has and is taking me on is nothing short of amazing. Not only is my voice getting stronger and sounding more beautiful every lesson but I am learning how to perform the songs I sing. Find the character, find the phrasing and truly deliver a song so I get the emotional reaction from the audience that I want.
For me that is the big difference between learning to sing and learning to perform the song and Dale gives me both of those lessons.
He has given me the confidence and ability to do something that I have wanted to do all my life.
There’s no judgement from him and his patience, kindness and commitment to helping me sing the songs I love is beyond measure.
Lessons are so much fun and there are certainly a lot of laughs along the way.
All I can say is if your dream is to sing then Dale will get you there.
